A message from Hutchins Garage Doors about Covid-19
We are open and here to help with your garage door needs
Dear Hutchins Customers,
The outbreak of Coronavirus COVID-19 in various locations throughout the US has not yet impacted our material supply or our ability to fulfill your orders, and to perform needed service to your overhead and garage doors. We have stock parts for doors and openers as well as many doors and openers in stock to fulfil your immediate needs. We can and will continue to service you and to protect the health and safety of our team members, customers and local communities.
The following actions have been taken at Hutchins Garage Doors:
- Increased frequency and enhanced cleaning of high touch point areas, such as door handles, countertops, light switches, desks, phones, keyboards restrooms and product
- Increased enhanced cleaning of our service vehicles
- Mandate that any team member who is not feeling well to stay home
- Suspended travel to and from areas with known COVID-19 cases
- Limit travel plans to only those that are necessary and in immediate need of service
- At this time and until March 28th, have implemented appointment only visits to our showroom and retail space
- Have our service technicians and customer service/phone support working remotely from home
- Secure work from home procedures for any team member that may need to be quarantined
The best way to avoid being exposed to the virus per the Center of Disease Control (CDC):
- Clean your hands often, washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick
- Stay home if you’re sick
- Practice social distancing by avoiding mass gatherings and maintaining distance from others (approximately 6 feet)
