Marantec openers are available in a residential or light commercial application.

The residential operators are DC power and logic controlled to create an intelligent device that can control the speeds, limits, pressures and operation of your door with an easy-to-program panel on the motor. The operator heads can be used with either a belt drive or chain drive system. The solid rail system ensures maximum safety and quiet operation. There are two versions of the residential operators. The 4500e and the 4700e. The 4500 is comparable in power to a ½hp operator and the 4700e is similar to a ¾hp operator. The 4700 might be used on a large wood door, while the 4500 works for most other doors. Both operators come with two remotes. An outside keypad can be added to the system for easy access from outside the garage.

The 4500e is $399+ tax installed for the ½hp and $459+ tax installed for the ¾hp 4700e.

An outside keypad is available for both operators for only $49 extra at the time of initial installation.

Marantec also makes a commercial operator, the RV8000, which can be used for higher doors. Typical application might be a service station or a tall garage door used for recreational vehicles. The RV8000 can handle heavier doors with heights of up to 14'. The product sheet can be found here.
