Q: When I push my remote the door will open but will not close?
A: The photo safety sensors may be out of alignment.
1) Try lowering the garage door with your inside wall panel button. If you can lower your door with constant pressure on the wall button until the garage door is fully closed, then your safety sensors are out of alignment.
2) To align your sensors, make sure they are a level 6-9” from the floor and facing slightly inward.
3) Check the alignment by using your hand-held garage door remote.
Q: When I push my remote, I hear a grinding noise but don’t see the garage door opener moving and the door doesn’t lift.
A: If you have a Chain Drive or Belt Drive garage door opener, then your drive gear is probably stripped and needs replacing. If you have a Screw Drive door opener, the teeth on the rack are probably stripped and need replacing.
Q: What is a Service Call?
A: A service call is something that other garage door companies charge you to come to your house. They can range from $49 to $95. It is also an ON SITE diagnostic of your garage door or garage door opener problem. We don’t charge for service calls. Our trained technician inspects your garage door or garage door opener then informs you whether a repair or replacement is necessary.

Q: What is a garage door tune-up?
A: After the service technician inspects your garage door, he will then perform the basic door Tune-Up. This procedure consists of lubing all moving parts of your door and adjusting the spring tension or leveling the garage door. The technician will inform you if it is necessary to replace worn-out parts at this time.
